C section chills

If I had c section chills the first time around, what’s the likelihood it will happen for second c-section?

I was so cold and chattering so hard during labor for the first one that I couldn’t even hold my baby. I have a scheduled c section and worried about it again.

I’m a bit nervous about this as well, I was fine until I was in my post partum room and really got the shakes and extreme nausea / vomiting. I’m really hoping it doesn’t happen again but I figure it probably will as it’s my bodies reaction to birth / the medication. I just plan to come in a bit more prepared and ready for it. lol.

Very normal. The or is cold, the hormones, the adrenaline, amd the medications they give you all lead to shaking unfortunately. Its likely itll happen again

I had chills with my first emergency csection. Didn’t have it with my second planned. Although both times I was able to hold baby. (First time I was assisted though until I was able to safely hold her on my own)

Following! I couldn’t hold my baby either as I had chills too and also anxiety during surgery, doing it again soon. 😬
