My 3 year old always choking

My 3 yr old is always choking on food it can be anything and she will choke to the point I've had to do the heimen manuver about 4 or more times and I always get so scared . I am scared of giving her anything unless it's like puree (I don't I give her actual food) but it always has me on edge and she's going to daycare soon and the fact that she can choke scares me so much. I even bought a life vac so I can have if needed but is there a reason why she can be choking so often ? This started since she was around 1 .
