If my friends invite me to a concert with them, should I invite my boyfriend too?

My two friends invited me to a concert with them, to an artist that my boyfriend also kind of likes (not really), and he was disappointed that I never invite him along to these things. My friends always finds concerts and events and invite me to them and my boyfriend gets mad that I never invite him along with me when I know that he wants to go. One of my friends has a boyfriend that she doesn’t drag along either but my boyfriend thinks that I don’t want him there because they’re both “single” (which they’re not). He thinks that we’re out flirting and that i’m not behaving. He’s always been like this when I go out with my friends. I get invited, he wants to join, I ask my friends and they politely say that it’s just a girls night, he gets clingy and frustrated and “ruins” my night out. I don’t want to get invited when he hangs out with his guy friends and I don’t ask to join them because I respect a guys night out alone. Should I invite him along?
