No Car AC. Am I wrong?

Rebekah

So my husband and I were talking tonight just like having a heart to heart. So the conversation started with him asking about how can he help with our son and I more ? I responded by stating to take better care of himself and then I ended of giving examples. He currently drives about an 1 - 1.5 hours to work and 1-1.5 hours home every day with no AC. It has been extremly hot in California, like between 95-115 every day right? I let him know that I feel that it bothers me hasn't gotten it fixed (he just doesnt want to pay for it) however, I then started saying that it's too hot. My car AC also went out and I feel like we both need to get it fixed, because we can't be driving like this with our 2 year old in 100 degree weather. I try to keep him in, but some days I have to go out for groceries and doctors appointments. My immediately falls asleep about 90% of the time and will be dripping in sweat after only a few minutes even after the windows are down. My husband proceeds to stay he is a boy he can handle it and then finsihed with a lovely if he was a girl i would have already had it fixed. His reasoning is that he wants to raise his son strong and thinks boys can handle more. This triggered me on so many levels and i had to stop myself from being completely disresppectful. I explained it to him that it doesnt matter the gender that he is only a child and we are dening him a basic necessity because he is a boy. Idk am I tripping? Like am I over reacting? I feel like we are being neglectful for not fixing it and Im going to get it fixed this week regardless like i really dont care what he says. I just wanted to see different POVs
