Not so fun fact
This story came to my mind after seeing a video of someone after wisdom teeth removal. When I had my miscarriage it was the first time I’d ever gone to the hospital. They put in an IV and everything it was very scary for me. Months later I had to get my wisdom teeth removed. They used anesthesia to put me out meaning they put in an IV. I started panicking as they struggled to find a good vein as that’s what happened at the hospital. Eventually one was found and I was knocked out. When I came to I was sitting in a chair next to a nurse where I proceeded to bawl my eyes out. He asked if I knew why I was crying and the only thing I could do was nod. I wanted to explain it was because of my miscarriage experience but I couldn’t speak with the gauze and numbness. I’m not sure why I even felt the need to explain because I’ve actually never told anyone about how painful it was for me to experience getting another IV. It felt like a really unreasonable reaction because what does the dentist have to do with a miscarriage but it happened and I just wanted to finally say it.
