6 weeks pregnant light spotting?😭

Question

I had a chemical pregnancy in February, have a healthy baby girl who’s 3 now. I just found out I’m pregnant again roughly 6 weeks along. Saw blood when wiping and now I’m terrified😭 I do have all of the regular pregnancy symptoms, sore breasts etc. But also have had some light cramping/pressure. The cramping is worse when standing for a period of time. Pretty concerned about another miscarriage, I’ve been praying not to see blood.

Update: my cervix is closed ultrasound looked great (still too early to see much) and my HCG is 200 they’re thinking late 4 to early 5 weeks gestation. But everything looks good🩵 they said dehydration can cause spotting, ran an IV bag of fluid. All is well!!!! Thank God.

I completely understand how terrifying this can be, momma. Though it’s not “normal” this is extremely common. I had bleeding from week 6-8.5 and I’m now 21 weeks and all is well. We also never found a cause.. easier said than done, but try to stay positive. ❤️

I had light bleeding with my daughter as well at around 5 weeks so I’m praying it’s okay. But being that I just had the chemical in February it’s definitely pretty scary. Thank you for the advice!💓 I’m really considering going to the hospital, my OB does not have me scheduled until 10 weeks😭 I may be able to get in with my primary doctor tomorrow and see if they could at least check my levels. Waiting to see if the bleeding gets heavier, so far I haven’t had anything else.

Hi, I’m so sorry you’re going through this right now. I know how difficult it can be to be spotting so early without knowing what’s going on. 
I would say reach out to your doctor or go to a lab and get a blood test to get your HCG checked to make sure your HCG level is good. I’d also say reach out to your doctor or visit the ER if you can. I had light spotting and thought nothing of it because I had it with my first but I actually had a SCH. Very small but it bled until I was about 9 ish weeks and I went to the ER at 6 weeks. They even checked for a heartbeat too.
