Colostrum harvesting?

Question

At what week of pregnancy can you start collecting colostrum. I'm currently 35 weeks and I'm leaking a lot and don't want all the gold liquid going to waste. 
I'm hoping I get the go ahead for 36 weeks but I'm new to this, what's the best product's to use? So I use a Hakka, breast pump or hand express? 
Looking for as much information as possible.

You can use a catching cup now. No expressing.
I’d wait until 38w minimum to express. Just hand express once a day and that’s it. It’s not necessary to express before labor.

I started leaking right around the start of my 3rd trimester and my doc said as long as I wasn’t stimulating, I could collect it. If I felt I was leaking I just used milk collectors or a syringe to get the few drops. Once I hit 36 weeks she said I could hand express and at 38 weeks she gave me the go ahead to actually pump.
