Telling my mom we won't attend family gatherings when she invites a certain family member because he gives me the creeps is final. As a mom I can choose who my kids will be around.

He takes pictures of the kids he tries to hang out with them in weird ways. He gives them the creeps. He obsessively asks about them. Photo graphs them even after being told not to.

My mom tried to tell me he's fine and she already told him not to do those things. Nope! He still did them twice after I told him to stop.

My own experience I told her he tried to get me in a car when I was younger always trying to get me to hug him. I don't want him around my kids.

This is the same woman after I told her I was raped she slapped me. She is lucky she has the privilege of being in my kids lives. She has since done counseling and therapy and apologized. I swear I will be a better mom I swear I won't put my kids in the vicinity of a creep.
