Mammogram

Just quick question anyone had a mammogram when they had the period, letter said to avoid the week before due to swelling and tenderness which I don’t usual have, I am due in the day of the appointment
Does it make the mammogram much more uncomfortable? I was going to flag it but I don’t want them to reschedule
