Has anyone else been to their 30+ week appointment, and told they were going to schedule a growth scan? I've had no issues this pregnancy, no pregnancy symptoms, and have passed all tests/labs without issues. I would consider myself low risk because I haven't been told otherwise. However, when I checked my chart at home after my last appointment I noticed my doctor noted the growth scan we due to 'maternal obesity'. My weight has never been brought up in any of my appointments, and my husband is telling me she wrote it like that so insurance would cover the third scan. Is that possible? I'm recovering from an eating disorder, which the doctors office knows about, so seeing the word 'obesity' on my chart has really just been a kick to the uterus.
