If you are not tracking ovulation with opks and BBT then you can't know when you ovulated and wouldn't have a dpo. The app is just guessing and is usually wrong for ovulation. 
If you are tracking ovulation with opks alone then it's an estimate. If you got your first positive opk on the 12th then you could have ovulated the 13th or the 14th. You'd be about 2dpo/3dpo. Opks don't confirm ovulation. 
If you are also tracking ovulation with BBT then you should be able to see when you ovulated and your dpo. If you need help with it you can post your BBT chart.
