35 Week Delivery Stories?

Has anyone here delivered between 35-36 weeks gestation and have a healthy baby? Would love to hear some positive stories please! 💕

I haven’t personally had a baby at 35-36 weeks gestation, however.. I am a NICU nurse, that also attends deliveries, and I’ve seen it go either way. Some do just fine, some need extra respiratory support or glucose stability.

My youngest was born at 34 weeks. He was 5lbs 12 ounces. He was in the nicu for 10 days, he couldnt stay awake long enough to eat. He did amazing after we brought him home. Hit all milestones early, was rarely sick. Hes 16 now, almost 6 ft and starting his junior year in high school with a full schedule of AP classes.

My son was born at 36 weeks and never had to spend any time in the nicu. He was an emergency C-section after noticing lack of movement and monitoring showed fetal distress. He was born perfectly healthy and never had had any problems after birth💙 He is now 3 months old and is exclusively breastfeed ( and always had been. Some doctors will really pressure you into thinking you’ll need to pump with him being a late term preemie, and while I did to help get my milk to fully come in, I never kept up with the pumping after leaving the hospital and my son has been perfectly healthy and chubby💙) Wishing you and baby a happy and healthy delivery🤍🤍

My first was born at 35+4. She weighed 4lbs 11oz. She spent 7 days in the nicu struggling to breathe and eat on her own. By day 5 she weighed 3lbs 13oz. She went home weighing 4lbs 1oz. 
She was just tiny. No other complications once home. She hit milestones and did great. 
She just turned 3 on the 14th! 
She barely fit in her car seat!

my niece was a 36 weeker. no issues she was just teeny tiny! she came home after 2-3 days. total spitfire now at 3 lmao. her poor mama went through so much to get her here though! she was in early labor on and off for quite a while.

My girl was 35 weeks. Spent 10 days in the NICU but is super healthy otherwise. She had a little trouble eating the amount they wanted her too and she had to be on a IV for a little bit but otherwise she is doing great!
