Discharge or mucus plug?

I’m only 31 weeks having painful cramping for 2 days and a LOT of movement with  a horrible dull ache in my back. 
I also have gestational diabetes so I’m worried about him coming earlier anyway. Please advise

Piece of mucous plug but it regenerates. I started losing mine at 27 weeks now 39 weeks. Still mention the symptoms at your appointment

Losing mucus plug means absolutely nothing in terms of labor. I would call nurses line about the cramping or mention at next appt if it’s soon. Back ache and movement sounds normal for this period in pregnancy

It looks to me like discharge bc most of the time when its the musuc plug its usually tinged with a little bit of blood
