Question about giving social security number out
I am considering changing care to somewhere closer to where I live. They asked for my social security number on their intake form. I never give it out for health care, even when they ask, and it’s never been an issue. Is this a new practice? My current OB GYN never asked for ssn. This place is saying it’s a requirement.
