37wks and dilated

I am 37wks today and had an appointment. I found out I’m 2-3cm dilated 50% effaced but my cervix is still very high up and slightly posterior. Is there anything I can do to help push things along? I have a ton of Braxton hicks some that are even more like contractions but nothing time able yet. I’m hoping baby joins us within the next couple of weeks! This is baby #3 for me. How long did you stay at 2-3cm?
