Grandpa showing his daughter his inheritance

So my grandpa showed my mom all the inheritance he had for her which I found pretty odd? He has never done that? And what I think, there is more to the story. Why would someone show what they are leaving over to you if there’s nothing wrong???? Am I digging to deep about this or???? Only reason I am thinking to deep about it, is because he’s very very private with his money He’s not going to tell you anything…. It’s just very odd of him.
