Birth Control / Sex drive

Hopefully someone can help me out! I was on nexplanon for about 5 years, I had 2 separate nexplanon implants in that time. Before nexplanon my sex drive was very high. Since getting on the birth control I usually had no sex drive, very low desire. Now I’ve been off of nexplanon since March 2024. I am just now starting to get on a regular period cycle, however my sex drive has not increased or went back to normal. When I’m having sex I enjoy it, so that’s not the issue, it’s just I never think about it anymore, I feel like I’d be fine just completely going without it. Has anyone else experienced this? And did your sex drive ever go back to normal?
