Please let me know your experience! My dr. is now working on getting me a diagnostic laparoscopy after 3 years of visiting drs complaining of symptoms.

We had been dealing with infertility for a few years. Nothing else was found wrong. I had significant pain and other textbook symptoms but I thought it was normal. Had the surgery in 2021.

Ive dealt wtih endometriosis for years. Uncontrollable pain especially during my period was my first sign. My mother and grandmother had it so they knew the signs as well. I was seeing the same gynecologist that my mom saw. They did the laproscopy to confirm diagnosis. I went through multiple different birth controls to control it. They didnt help effectively. Just had another laproscopy done 10 days ago. My husband and i have been trying to conceive and have had no luck for years. So they flushed my tubes as well. I have not felt this "normal" in many years. It can be a difficult surgery to recover from, depending on your body and how the surgery goes, but in my experience has been the only way to get comfort for a while.
