I usually get along with my neighbors. We don't really talk much but are friendly. They have two kids and teenager seems like he may be on the spectrum. I'm currently pregnant. I'm not a fan of our apartment buildings and hate the structure. Our apartments share vents and the walls are also pretty thin so we can hear our neighbors a lot. Me and my husband's bedroom seems to share a wall with their sons room. We can hear him play video games and stuff. That's not even the biggest problem. Since we share a vent we get odors from his room. And since the apartment structure is ass we can hear his conversations with his mom. He seems to be a bedwetter. And I believe he's on the spectrum so I'm not judging. But the smell of pee travels to our bedroom. My husband smells it but with me being pregnant it's so much worse. It literally makes me sick. It's getting to the point I can't sleep in my own room. Would I be shitty to complain to my neighbors and or the office about this. I get it's the apartments shitty structure but I don't want to smell that all the time. I'm not trying to embarrass her child but it's getting ridiculous and I can't sleep in my own room and sometimes just go sleep on the couch.

Edit: For those saying this is just apartment living, I've lived in plenty of apartments and never had an issue where I can smell the room in the other apartment. Or a problem where I can just hear normal conversations. It's a BUILDING issue. The apartments structure is ass.
