It’s our turn! 💗🍼

On Friday, September 13th, our beautiful twin girls made their grand entrance into the world. It was a day we’ll never forget, filled with emotions, strength, and the immense joy of finally meeting our miracles.

The birth didn’t go quite as expected. I had a C-section, and while I was awake, only part of the spinal tap took effect for the first 20 minutes. I ended up feeling more than I should have during the first part of the procedure. It was like something straight out of a movie, with a tarp shielding my view, but the shadows and even a blood splatter on the tarp made it feel surreal. There were moments of intense fear, but all of that faded the second I heard my girls’ first cries.

Though they are small and currently receiving breathing support in the NICU, they are such fighters. They’re expected to stay there for at least a week, and we are so proud of their strength already. They are the most beautiful and resilient little girls I’ve ever known and I am to the moon in love! 🥰🌹

I’m beyond grateful that we’ve made it through this chapter safely. The hardest part is behind us, and I’m feeling optimistic about what lies ahead for our little family. Thank you all for your love and support during this time. 💖
