We talked about the possibility of not having kids.
My husband and I have been married for almost 8 years. We got married young (19 & 20). We wanted to get to grow up some more and spend time with it just being the two of us before having kids.
The other day we actually talked about the possibility of not having kids. We spent the weekend helping my sister in law babysit her kiddos while she was away. It kind of made us realize maybe we don’t want this kind of life. Not that being parents would be a bad thing or that we wouldn’t love our child, we’d love our child 100%. We had talked about it on our way home about the subject of kids and both are honestly on the same page that we don’t really want kids. We have a ton of nieces and nephews and friends who are like family that have kiddos too. My husband said he would be totally fine just being the cool uncle.
Idk I just needed to get this out somewhere. I feel like I’d be judged by family if I tell them about not wanting kids and deciding that we don’t want kids. My best friend knows and was super understanding though which I’m so grateful for.
Idk, I guess i just needed to get it off of my chest and tell random strangers 🙃😅🤣
I know this is a long post so to anyone who took the time read it, thank you ❤️❤️❤️
