Long distance relationship

So my LDR and I planned on me and my kids moving to be with him in 10 months but now he’s having a change of heart and wants to move here knowing I’m ready to get out of this state. He also wants to wait until the beginning of 2026. Idk why the change of heart but he says he’d like a change is scenery also, but to wait that long is what’s bothering me. I may be why all of a sudden and why wait. Am I overthinking this ?
