I have no idea how these tests work ngl does this mean i’m ovulating right now or about to ovulate

Is this a digital opk? If it is you go by the screen not the lines. 
Opks also don't test for ovulation itself. The test for the LH surge that should trigger ovulation. So when you get your first positive opk that's when you know you are within 48 hours of ovulating. They don't confirm ovulation though so you would track BBT to confirm ovulation.

Answer

The test line needs to be as dark or darker than the control to be conspired a positive. If you’re taking it in the right time of your cycle, that surge means ovulation is coming within the next 36 hours. 
If you don’t understand OPKs don’t use them until you do some research. It’s a waste of money otherwise. 
LH rises other times in your cycle as well. Things why you stop testing after peak in your fertile week. They don’t detect pregnancy either. This is a common misconception.
