I have 2 biological children with a previous partner and my husband doesn’t have any children of his own. We were told we wouldn’t qualify for IVF on the NHS. I have just spoken to a consultant who has put us forward for IVF on the NHS and I am absolutely over the moon! So my question is, I’m 39, how long should I expect to wait in Wales for the process to begin? I just had my first call and already have my first appointment for FSH bloods on Tuesday!
