Who had intercourse 2 days before ovulation.. not on peak day

I’ve had four boys all conceived on peak day.

Has anyone had boys or girls two days before ovulation? TMI.. if you had a girl, did you use preseed or any type of egg friendly lubricant? Noticed more ppm use preseed and get boys.

Had an “oops” girls
Then had a planned girl with preseed and I used the flex disc after sex to hold sperm. Was chatting temps and using digital ovulation. Tried for a year. 
This pregnancy we are having a boy. No preseed. I got a low ovulation test then we had sex 4 days in a row, I ovulated on the 3rd day. Got the peak digital test on the 2nd intercourse day. Tried for a year. Did use the flex disc but I had a lot of cervical mucous and didn’t use pressed. We were very “in the moment” I actually didn’t track temps this month (May) because I was taking a break for temping. I did take mucinex this month.
