What to use for dry baby scalp?

Hey everyone! My baby is 8 months old and has a ton of hair but has had scalp issues since she was born. First cradle cap (gone now), but now she's always scratching her head and creating cuts. I noticed this summer I am also having a lot of scalp issues and bumps, which I've never dealt with. Idk if it's because of the weather or what but I need some ideas on what I can do to help our scalps. I'm wanting to start hot oil treatments for my kids and I but idk if she's too little?
