So I was wondering how other couples work when mother nature hits and you guys start your period?
Currently I’m on my period. It is frustrating that I have to ask for everything to get done for me. I’m having a really bad cramp and nausea the first two days. In the morning he never gets my morning tea even if that is my morning ritual. He basically stays in bed (works from home) with me all day (excuse me like why you here instead of helping me out with the chores I do?). He never asks hey you thirsty? Hey you hungry? I have to ask to give me some. Even my brother is better raised than this and would ask me if I need any.

I think you’re being really unrealistic here. Expecting a man to serve you because you’re on your period is a wild monthly expectation. Have you asked him to do these things?

lol dramatic much, I’m going to say that majority of women just get up and get on with it rather than expecting their other halves to wait on them because they are on their cycle

I’m on my period, not handicapped. I still do the things I need to do even when I’m in pain. Same for when I’m in a flare with my Crohn’s disease.

I would agree with one of the comments excepting him to take care of you every month is crazy. My husband doesn’t do anything but I’m not is so much pain that i can get it myself.

My husband checks in and will usually cook the first couple days (I usually get really bad migraines for 2-3 days), feed the dogs, surprise me by bringing home a Pepsi and a Hershey’s bar (my only period craving), and will ask if I’ve taken Tylenol recently, need my water bottle filled, or if I’ve eaten enough that day (horrible about not thinking about it and missing meals on a good day). Sometimes he will even offer to draw me a bath if I’m feeling really crampy. He is super sweet and doting, and we both really try to take care of the other when they’re not feeling well. Don’t get me wrong, some days he makes me insane, and he doesn’t do all of that 100% of the time, but he does a lot to make sure I’m okay - especially on the migraine days.

Wow why you complaining on here for? If you want something get your ass up and get it like all us other women do when on our periods. Unbelievable.
