How seriously do you take product recalls that are due to user error, not faulty/dangerous products?
Recently a number of baby swings were recalled due to suffocation risk. We had one of these swings and it said on the swing itself and in the manual not to add bedding, not to let babies sleep in it, and not to use accessories like head supports or pillows.
I'm not victim blaming in any way because losing a child is devastating and horrific. From the way the recall notice is written, it sounds like more of a user error issue vs an actual product safety issue.
In these instances, how seriously do you take recall notices?
