My daughter will be there in a few weeks. We’ve been trying to potty train her since September. They work with her at school on it as well. I have no clue how she does at school other than they put them on the toilet about every 30 min. At home she wears potty training underwear. It’s like she doesn’t get it. We ask her multiple times to go and we even sit her on the toilet every 20 minutes. Sometimes she will go when we force her to sit on the toilet. She never goes on her own will. We push it and offer a reward and never punish her for not doing it. We talk to her and explain it to her, instead. I just don’t understand why she doesn’t get it. We were in the store today and I took her to go potty and nothing. Not even 5 minutes later she pees all down her legs and all over the floor and in her shoes. I cleaned it up and tried so hard to keep it together. I changed her and did my best to not cry (I’m pregnant and super emotional at the moment). I talked to her on the way home and during the time I spent cleaning it up. She just acted like she didn’t know what happened. She never told me she needed to potty. I asked multiple times. I feel so frustrated and at a a loss. She will literally just pee in her pants and poop as well. She just won’t go unless she’s forced to sit on the potty and if we get lucky.
