My husband is a huge momma's boy. We had so many issues of him constantly putting his mom before me. He would do anything for her and just wanted her approval. She wasn't really that kind to him as a child as that's downplaying it. My husband started making good money and he wanted to take care of her. Then he met me and she dispised me. My husband always put his mom first. He even left me at home when I was having a miscarriage to go see his mom. I almost left him over that but then we started marriage counseling. My husband got a call from his sister. I just heard what. I saw him him hang up the phone and then start laughing and kept laughing. I asked what that was about. He just says "My mom's dead." That's not what I was expecting. He just kept laughing saying "God... My mom's dead. Ha!" I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to do ..... I asked was he okay and he laughed and said "Yeah... Let's go get Indian food." His sister is handling the funeral and I don't know what I'm supposed to say or do. He hasn't brought it up since we found out.
