5 month old super fussy
Anyone else’s baby like this at this age? She just turned 5 months old. I don’t think she’s sick or an ear infection or anything. This last week she just seems extra fussy out of no where.
She’s always been a happy smiley baby. Def preferred being held but she used to be able to entertain herself for a couple mins when she felt like it. But now as of this week the second we lay her down she’s crying immediately. She’s constantly wanting held, and that isn’t even always helping, she will still be whining most of the time unless we are distracting her. She still smiles but not as much of that happening lately compared to what it was!
When we picked her up before, usually that would stop her from whining for the most part. But now, she continues whining usually when we are holding her unless we are walking around with her or distracting her, that sometimes helps but not long. We have to be standing during this though
She’s been trying to shove anything she gets her hands on in her mouth and drooling for awhile now. But I keep checking every day to see if she has any teeth coming in bc the fussing is so much worse out of no where! A teether sometimes calms her down, but other times seems to make her frustrated too
She’s 100% breastfed. No diet changes for me recently. She is on the smaller side, but she was born in the 6th percentile, now up to 25th percentile
It’s almost like she wants to be doing more but can’t yet? I remember feeling this way with my first too, there was a period she was really fussy. Once she started crawling she became happier. She also popped her first teeth in that same month. Wondering if that’s what’s going on here? Teething pain and/or you wants to be able to get around?
