Should I file for harassment?

My boyfriend’s ex, is constantly blowing our lives up. His baby mama. The child is almost 9.

She’s constantly calling me names to his phone and we ignore it. But I’m starting to take it as threats now. Involving a gun. I’ve been called

Sasquatch, ugly, bitch, etc. she’s threatened to come beat me up. Obviously he has to have contact because of the child but that’s all he wants. But she’s antagonizing. She’s getting put in jail in a few months, but should I just file for harassment and send her in now? I mean. It’s pathetic. She’s 40+ and insulting me like a child. I’ve never even met her because of this. I believe it would end the drama, but possibly my relationship with my boyfriend also. What should I do.
