Update: Everything got situated and my surgery is on Tuesday!

I went to my gynecologist on Tuesday to get my IUD removed. She couldn’t find the strings to removed it so she said she was going ti give me some medicine to make my cervix open while having an ultrasound to make sure she was able to grip it. During my appointment we watched her grab the iud on the ultrasound but when she went to go pull on it I was in extreme pain and I started crying. She tried a few more times but it would not move. She told me that I needed to go to OR to get it removed. She sounded urgent with it. The scheduling lady told me that they couldn’t get me in until December 4th. I also explained to her that my insurance ends at the end of November. And she pretty much said there was nothing she could do for me. Should I call my doctors office tomorrow and trying to leave a message for the nurse so they can talk to my doctor? I feel like this is something that can’t really wait a month out and I’m freaking out and don’t know what to do
