Hi everyone; I was recently diagnosed with CML Leukemia. Contrary to popular belief, drug based chemotherapy is not covered in Canada. My medication would cost 11 thousand dollars monthly. This is out of reach for me and I have accepted my fate and I am planning for my passing. I am a single mother to a four year old, whom I will be leaving behind once I pass.
