BBT first or second

bbt was 99.1 when I checked this morning after waking up, never had a temp this high and wanted to check again during the day it’s 96.4 which is the accurate temp

Just to be clear I did do the first temp in the morning before doing anything and I know you aren’t supposed to temp throughout the day but I never had a temp that high so I wanted to see if it was still up there. If my temp was so high in the morning I feel like it would be around that same temp??? :/
