Colposcopy and biopsy while pregnant

I had a colposcopy done on Wednesday the 27th due to an abnormal pap a few weeks before. A biopsy was done during this which I was told is safe during pregnancy. I am 17 weeks along.

I was wondering if anyone has had one done before while pregnant and can answer some questions.

I’ve had minimal discharge the two days after and was warned that the medicine to stop the bleeding would resemble coffee grounds. This I have seen in small amounts. Today has been different where I have had large tissue like globs with the mucus like discharge and coffee grounds. No bleeding and slight cramping. I have also been feeling movement still.

Is this normal? I have already messaged my doctor but seeing how it’s the weekend unsure of when I will hear back.
