Supply issues

Mollie

This is my 3rd baby. With the older two I had what would probably be considered an oversupply and never worried about if they were getting enough. As of a couple weeks ago my son stopped sleeping his 6-7 hour stretches at night and now wakes up every 2 hours and also wants to eat every 2 hours during the day and he is 3 months old. My boobs NEVER feel full. When I pump I maybe get 1 ounce if it’s the boob I fed on last and then maybe 2 ounces on the boob I fed on 4 hours prior. I have a freezer stash and if I feed him a bottle usually 3-4 ounces he might last 3 hours before getting hungry again.

I’m frustrated and feeling defeated because I want to exclusively breastfeed and I feel like it will soon come to an end because my supply just isn’t there. I have the lactation drinks, I drink water, my friend made me lactation balls. I have been trying to pump to stimulate more milk production and I feel like nothing is working. I’m an avoiding giving him bottles of my frozen breastmilk because I’m afraid he will drink all of it and we will have to start buying formula and then he won’t breastfeed.

I’m tired. I’m frustrated. I’m sad. Any help/advice would be appreciated.

This is my last baby and all I want is to breastfeed him up to a year. 😭
