Did anyone have experience with staphylococcus saprophyticus UTI?

Did anyone have experience with staphylococcus saprophyticus UTI? If so how did you get it and have you had experience with your boyfriend being affected by it after unprotected sex? I just got my urinary culture results back that I did because of UTI symptoms, but since they were off and on for a week I had unprotected sex with my partner thinking it's no big deal. Turns out it staphylococcus saprophyticus UTI and after some research I found out it could be transmitted sexually. I told him to get tested but since it takes a while to get the results from urinary culture I thought to ask if anyone had a similar experience and what were the outcomes? I also wonder if the cause of it was could have been sex of maybe the pool water from my swimming practice. Please share if you have some knowledge.
