How to deal with a husband who refuses to talk about things

I had a stillbirth a month ago... I went into labor at home and my husband ended up having to deliver the baby. The baby was born gone.... And my husband hasn't spoken to me about it at all. I have been extremely depressed and today I told my husband we haven't talked about it and he just got an uncomfortable look on his face and turned to walk away. He said "There's nothing to talk about." I said "Our baby died." And he goes "Yeah. There's nothing we can do to change it so there's nothing to talk about." My husband is always like this. He can handle things like when my twin sister passed away. He was more emotionally removed from that so he could comfort me. But when it comes to stuff that also affects him he refuses to talk about it. I called my MIL crying and begging her to tell her son I need him. She told me that he's always been like this and to just accept it. She told me when his dad died when he was 17 and he had to be the one to identify his dad's dead body. He refused to talk about it so she didn't push it. My husband does refuse to talk about his father. He has no pictures of his dad and from what I heard his dad was a great guy. He stopped talking about his dad after the funeral. She also told me when my husband was 16 he was violently sexually assaulted and he refused to ever talk about it so she let it be and didn't push it. She said they had DNA and everything that could have put the guy away but because my husband didn't want to talk about it she just didn't push press charges. My husband never told me that. My husband's way if handling things is to not ever talk about it and pretend it never happened. He erased his dad because he couldn't handle his dad dying. He pretended what happened when he was 16 never happened and now he's trying to erase our baby. I'm depressed. I'm a month postpartum and don't have the support I need.
