Question

Hi all, i had a scan at 8+1 that showed 2 identical sacs. One empty and one with a fetus measuring 6 weeks and without a heartbeat 😞 does this mean this was going to be a twin pregnancy and one of them did not develop? Very unfortunate as this is my first miscarriage as i have a toddler already
