Am I bad mom for making my 3yo (in her room) and 19mo (in my room) sleep on a mattress on the floor? My husband and I bought toddler beds but they just take up too much room in our two bed all season destinational trailer. Run down, we ditched our rental house and went full time living over the road for work for a few years, but we’re back now and plan to buy within the next year, so renting on top of our payments just isn’t something we want to do. I have four littles sharing the back room. Our plan is to put the mattresses up during the day (more room for play) and then down for bed. When we had a house our boys slept on a floor bed, but my 3yo cried when we got rid of the toddler frame. Am I bad mom for having them sleep on a mattress on the floor? I feel awful but I’m trying to make the best of what we have at the moment. I’m sure we all know times are tough, space is limited and I can’t think of any other way to give them the best of both worlds (sleep and play.) please don’t be harsh, my husband and I beat ourselves up enough for bringing four babies into this world without a purchased home.
