Late ovulation????

Hi All,

Please help. I had a miscarriage in early October 2024 and my periods came back in November on my regular cycle. In November I gave myself time to not try for another one as I needed time to heal however, after December’s cycle I did a few ovulation test and I got negative on most days when I should be ovulating as per the app. After giving up for a a few days, I did a random opk test and it showed LH surge today being the most positive and my periods are due on 15th of January, therefore in 4-5 days. I am not sure, if it is normal or has happen to anyone and this surge means I could be ovulating late but then 5 days before periods?
