Strep??

Has anyone gone through something like this? I had strep since before thanksgiving three rounds of antibiotics and it seemed to finally clear up they did a culture last week and I got results two days ago everything was negative now since yesterday my throat is starting to hurt again and my throat hurts is this normal has anyone gone through this been to urgent care, dr , and ent

Does your doctors office send it down to the lab? I work at a pediatric office and if the strep is negative we send it down to the lab and they put it in sheep blood because the strep is attracted to it somehow and they see if it grows bacteria and thats how you can detect early strep i would go get tested again honestly

Yes they sent it for the culture to lab and it came out negative I went last week to ent, but today it started hurting idk what else to do:(
