Bf says I purposely try to make him feel bad

My bf thinks I tried to make him feel bad on purpose. And I didn’t!!!

He bought a gaming computer months ago. So his Xbox and PlayStation has been collecting dust. So he decided to sell them.

There was a game that we use to

Play. And I saw that there’s a new game out for couples to play and I wanted to play it. I haven’t been feeling good and I thought it would be a good distraction and would be fun to play it with him.

So I asked him tonight if we could play this new game.

He says “I swear you do that on purpose”

And I said “what are you talking about ?”

He says “ You haven’t wanted to play a game in months with me. But after I sell my Xbox and PlayStation and my extra controllers, now you want to play a game. And make me feel bad for not having an extra controller”.

I said “ first of all, I would never purposely try to make you feel bad. I thought you still had another controller. I didn’t even think about you selling everything. And it’s not a big deal”.

And he said that he hates when I do that make him feel like a bad boyfriend.

Like yes I’m bummed that we can’t play the game but it’s lot the end of the world. Geez
