We’ve been together six years and ai thought I’d switch it up this year by asking him. Something simple like buying a pizza in a heart shape and writing on the box will you be my valentine or even a small dessert. However his family is very traditional, and I feel like they’ll think I’m putting him on a pedestal and idk. Thoughts?

Theres nothing wrong with you making/doing nice gestureslike he would or something very meaningful/thoughtful. Its good your partner treats you great and its s also a good this that you would want him to feel as good as he makes you feel. I say do it. Me and my husband gestureeach other all the time . Your parter knows you care but the feeling that'll rush over him knowing you did something so nice like that, Him knowingyour really give a sh*t ya know . Some men give but never receive. Im sure it would make him feel awesometo knowthat his parter was and always is thinking about him. Do it girl.

Late response but definitely! I went and got my bf Valentine’s Day stuff just a stuffy, chocolate with a framed picture of us and roses. He was so happy and told me he’s never got flowers before. Moral of the story he’ll remember that forever :)

Do it girl!! Valentine’s Day is not only for girls. It’s also for the guys.  If you get him something special like that, he will remember it. Many guys do because it’s rare when they actually get something special.
