Does this sound like someone who is on their meds?

My 20 year old son is bipolar and he sent me this crazy stuff today. My boyfriend said I'm overreacting and he's a grown man who knows how to take his own meds. I want to go check up on him but my boyfriend is saying my son isn't my husband and that I'm turning nothing into something so I can go "wifey" my son. Does this look like nothing?

It definitely sounds like he’s going through an episode and your bf is weird as hell trying to make your concern for your son into something creepy and weird. You should really dump your boyfriend over this

Check on him. You’re his mother and this doesn’t sound like someone who is in their right mind hun. Remember, kids always come before boyfriends/girlfriends and I don’t care how old they are. He’s wrong to try and make you not check on your son. Any decent man would encourage you to check on your child.

I am bipolar as well and this screams “mania” to me.  Definitely check on him.  When I had to first take medication I lived several hours from home and my dad called me every day to help make sure I remembered to take my medication.  I also had such delusions and remember thinking I didn’t need medication but I most certainly do.
