What does it mean if he stopped talking to me?

Last weekend I had a guy stay over from Friday to Sunday, because he wanted to be with me. I had work on Saturday night and expected him to go home, but he insisted on staying another night and he even prepared dinner for me when I came home. The weekend before that he stayed over from Saturday to Sunday. Between that we talked every single day and he really seemed interested in me. Yesterday he suddenly stopped responding to me. I could see that he was using his phone and being active on social media, but still I never heard from him. Today I deleted his number and I have no idea what happened. He suddenly stopped talking to me but I don’t know why. Two days ago he had stayed with me the entire weekend and couldn’t stop smiling or talking to me, and now I had been ignored for a whole day. I know that he wasn’t busy enough to answer me, anyone have any idea what might have happened? I’m just confused.
