Ovulation tests

I just started my clomid journey the other day. I have 2 more days left. I did call my doctors office today with these questions but I didn’t hear back yet and now it’s the weekend so I figured it couldn’t hurt to ask here. When I finish my last dose of clomid when should I start taking the at home ovulation tests? Is there a best time to take them? First urine of the morning? Will it mess anything up if I take them later in the day like if I’m running late to work? I’ve been TTC for almost 3 years now and I’m just so scared I’m going to mess it up.
