Late Talker

My son just turned 2 and has about 40-50 single words or sound words. He is not talking in 2 word phrases and uses baby jargon (gibberish sounding speech) more than actual words. I have no other concerns for his development besides his expressive language. All other areas are normal or above average. Does not show signs of autism. Just wondering what other mom’s experiences are with their late talkers. When did your late talker start speaking? Feeling worried but wanted to see if others have had similar experiences. Thank you!
