IUD Pain after 10 months

I’m making this post hoping it will help other people and maybe someone has already gone through this and can share advice.

I had an iud placed during a C-section. It probably wasn’t the best idea but I was pregnant and not thinking clearly. I didn’t really have any issues until a few weeks ago. I started having pretty severe back pain, no pain meds were helping.

The back pain has turned into what feels like pelvic pain towards the front. I don’t know how else to explain it. But I am always uncomfortable and extremely bloated.

I made an appointment to get the iud removed tomorrow. I hope it will relieve some of these symptoms and I start to feel like myself again.
